OUR OBJECTIVES

Kimathi Information Centre purposes to ensure that each and every resident in the communities we support has ICT knowledge in His or Her mind therefore, eliminating illiteracy in our communities on a diminutive scale and increasing chances of employment and self startup businesses in the country through ICT. We focus use computer technology as the tool to help the people we target to know how to apply ICT in their lives, in their businesses, in the homes and even in their education.

·         To educate every boy and girl in school on how technology can change his/her life positively.

·         To be the positive change we want to see in our community.

·         To create employment for every citizen in our community by encouraging each one to get involved in social entrepreneurship.

·         To be mentors, leaders and role models to many upcoming entrepreneurs who are market driven but need support in order to reach their goal.

To be the country’s leading youth organization that is positively impacting the lives of people; that will always be used a model for other upcoming organizations.

To be the positive change we want to see in our community by the use of technology as our main tool.

Kimathi Information Centre intends to  enrich more people with the knowledge that we have  acquired through technology so that we can help each other to open up more centre’s like our own in order to make our community a better place for everyone.

Respect for humanity is one of the main core values of Kimathi Information centre. Through this, the community has learned to rely and identify themselves with the centre.

With our 2 years of existence, Kimathi Information centre has changed, equipped and empowered the lives of the residents and community dwellers within the area. We have gone where they thought they couldn’t. We strongly believe that we can get everything in life we want if we help enough other people get what they want.
