Social Entrepreneurship 101: Africa

KENYAN YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR APPLICATION FORM 2008

Instructions: Fill out this application by typing in your responses to the questions. Forward a copy of the completed application form to Presiding Clerk Youth-Friends Church (Maringo and Ngong road). A local partner agency of “Social Entrepreneurship 101: Africa”. Provide as much information as possible to assist the judges in the selection process. Application Deadline is August 31st 2008

Authors of selected applications will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with a group of students from the University Of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada and Kenya Youth Business Trust in Kenya to develop their ideas into business plans with an action plan to achieve the successful start to your business or project
  • Attend a series of workshops that will teach and develop particular business skills that are essential for entrepreneurs
  • Attend presentations by guest speakers from the Kenyan business community
  • Participate in group activities and social events with the other applicants and the UBC/Strathmore team
